The International Planned Parenthood Federation had on many occasions experienced unauthorized access to its data. They therefore needed to have complete control of its computerized data and put disaster recovery procedures are in place. The Federation thus contracted us to review its data security and disaster recovery procedures, which we did, and established that it’s data security procedures were inadequate. We then developed computer data access controls and disaster recovery procedures and implemented our recommendations to fix that inadequacy. We further noted that the organization needed experienced computer personnel, and as such we were contracted to identify and recommend a suitable ICT staff.
